Based in the North Shore, helping others has always been a central part of her life. Lisa believes that Reiki is for everyone — no matter their age, fitness level, or state of mind.

About Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice that focuses on reducing stress, supporting relaxation, and encouraging the body’s natural healing processes. It is delivered through light touch or near-touch techniques that are designed to balance energy and promote overall wellbeing. A Reiki session typically creates a sense of calm and renewal, and many describe the experience as deeply relaxing and restorative.

What to expect in a Reiki session

When you arrive, you’ll step into a calm, peaceful room designed for rest and relaxation. Your session with start with a friendly chat so you feel comfortable and have the opportunity to discuss any health concerns. You’ll then rest on a padded massage table, with a soft pillow and blanket if you wish.

With soothing background music, you’ll be free to close your eyes and let go of the outside world. Your Reiki Practitioner will gently place their hands in different positions — usually starting at your head — moving over areas where healing energy is needed. Sessions are quiet, but if you need to ask a question or adjust at any point, you’re welcome to.

What does Reiki feel like?

Every session is unique. You might feel warmth, tingling, or shifts of energy. You might yawn, cough, shed tears, or simply sink into a state of deep relaxation. Whatever you experience is perfectly okay — Reiki works with your body and spirit in the way you need most.

Above all, Reiki is safe, calming, and restorative. It’s time set aside just for you.
